Our MISSION
Launched in 2003, Ujima Foundation helps vulnerable and orphaned Kenyan youth gain the skills, self-sufficiency, and employment to support themselves and the children under their care. Today, in partnership with its income generating partners, including Maili Saba Camp, Ujima trains up to 400 youth a year for jobs in the hospitality and beauty industries.
LATEST NEWS
We are happy to announce that in December 2023, we opened a new restaurant in Kisumu called Ujima Food Garden. The restaurant, which will mainly be operated by Ujima students, will offer unique on the job training. In addition, it will generate new revenue to support Ujima programs!

Meet
IVAN
Ivan Odhiambo is the second oldest of five children, who tragically lost both of their
parents. However, through Ujima, Ivan found his voice and obtained full-time employment at a local hotel. Today, he is not only able to support his family, he is also saving to fulfill his dream of becoming an accountant.
